Hormone Detox Bath Salts

My stress levels have been through the roof lately. When our cortisol and stress levels rise, hormones get out of balance - and my PCOS creeps back in. As proof, I lost my period this month (yet again + I can assure you we are not pregnant).


This just proves that what you eat is not the only factor in your health! I have been so focused on easting perfectly that I completely lost focus of everything else (aka : orthorexia). 

Holistic health is all about balancing multiple aspects of your life! This includes your food, exercise, career, self care, spirituality, relationships, etc! My anxiety and stress can really take a toll on my hormones if I’m not taking care.

These bath salts are wonderful for hormones (especially when stress strikes). The magnesium is great for PMS symptoms and with excess estrogen by detoxing the liver. I could go on and on about the benefits but the main thing you need to know is that : if you are prone to stress - you’re most likely low in magnesium.

I like to eat dark chocolate + almond butter + seaweed for magnesium but topical magnesium is also great!!

Hormone Balancing Bath Salts:

takes 5 minutes to make and lasts 5 baths! 

2 cups Epsom salts

 3 drops Lavender essential oil

2 drops Eucalyptus

1/2 cup baking soda

3 tbsp pink Himalayan sea salt

handful of dried lavender!

Hand mix all the ingredients and store in a jar until you are ready to use them! Each bath takes about 1/2 cup of the salts!
